We invited Milkcrate to perform a piece for residents from Glebe and Surry Hills as a step in building awareness and skills in telling our stories

Milk Crate Theatre creates challenging and inspiring theatre with the homeless and disadvantaged community that explores with heart, honesty and integrity how we relate to each other and the world we live in. Milk Crate Theatre believes in the power of creativity to enhance the way we live our lives, to build our connection to one another. It is Australia’s only theatre company solely dedicated to the homeless and disadvantaged community.

Milk Crate Theatre is a Darlinghurst Theatre Company initiative that works in collaboration with a network of service centres in Sydney including Wesley Missions’ Edward Eagar Lodge, Mission Australia Centre, The Wayside Chapel, The Mercy Arms, Rough Edges and The Matthew Talbot Hostel.
